Super Smash Bros. Brawl is so far the fastest selling Wii game in Japan! Famitsu is reporting that the game has sold just over 1 million copies, faster than any Wii game before it. Hit the jump for a more info.
SSBB is on its way to becoming the best selling game of this generation by climbing the charts to a total of 1 million copies sold in Japan. There are still a few weeks until the March 9th North American launch for the game to gain even more ground, so only time will tell how fast the numbers keep on growing. There is no doubt that a few Seattle area gamers are upset that they missed the official Pink Godzilla Smash Brothers Brawl preview event earlier this week, so if you missed it make sure to check out the full recap.Given that SSBB is now the fastest selling Wii game, it's probably safe to predict that Brawl will continue on to become the #1 selling game this generation. After having a great first week of sales at 820K as reported last week, it is of little doubt that the sales numbers will jump even higher before March 9th!
Stay tuned to Pink Godzilla for the latest news on SSBB as the North American launch grows closer!

SSBB has sold 840,000 in it’s launch week in Japan, getting to a million after eleven days. And with expectation at a fever pitch it will definitely launch at number one in America and Europe. But will it be one of the biggest games of 2008?

I think that SSBB could continue its climb to be the top selling game of this generation, only time will tell if it can make a quick million in a few weeks in the US and Europe.
