Japan Gaming News 12/04 to 12/10

Big-name PS2 and Xbox 360 titles steal some of Nintendo's glory on the software charts, but Nintendo manages to retain the top two slots in hardware sales. Xbox 360's Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and PSP's Metal Gear Portable Ops recieve critical acclaim from Famitsu. Xbox 360 sees five digit hardware sales for the first time in almost a year thanks to the highly anticipated Blue Dragon.

PSP News

Square-Enix announced that a port of the PS1 Strategy-RPG "Final Fantasy Tactics" will be coming to the PSP under the title "Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Senso [The Lions War]" Animated cutscenes will be added to the PSP version. A sequel of the "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance" (GBA) has also been confirmed but the platform was not announced.
