Early reports from Japan indicate that Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii has sold out in Japan. Initial launch day sales figures estimate the number of units sold at 500,000 copies. Considering the worldwide popularity of the Wii and the legendary awesomeness that is Smash Bros., it's probably safe to predict that Brawl will go on to become the #1 selling game of this generation of home consoles.
We could translate all the Japanese text in the below pictures, but it all says pretty much the same thing but in different ways: "I pity the po' foo' who didn't line up at 6:00 a.m. to grab their copy of Smash. Did you really think that there would be any copies left after you got off work. You are a po' po' foo'." Or something to that effect.
