Since the release of Nintendogs in Japan, the island also known as Nippon has been sprinkled with DS download stations from Sapporo to Fukuoka. In Akihabara, it is not uncommon to see a gaggle of men and women of all ages standing around a white tower anxiously waiting for a download. Feeling left out, the PSP has decided to join the download party with the Playstation Spot.
Q: What is a P-spot?
A: As you can tell by the illustrated logo, the P-spot is a download station that allows you to download games, download new content, update your firmware, surf the internet, and play games online. Unfortunately, the P-spot does not facilitate game sharing.
Q: Where is the P-spot?
A: Starting January 30, 2007, the PSP minority will be able to find the elusive P-spots in 1035 stores throughout the island.
Q: What do I need to enjoy the P-spot?
A: You only need a PSP of any color and firmware version 3.10.
