From the hallowed halls of Nintendo Japan HQ, Mario and Co held the Fall 2007 Nintendo Conference.
Highlights Include:
>Smash Brothers Brawl delayed until late January 2008.
Highlights:
>Smash BrothersX (aka Smash Brothers Brawl stateside) delayed until January 24, 2008.
>Nintendo aims to increase number of Wii users online and announced the establishment of a trouble shooting hotline.
>Announced plans to make downloading demo versions of Wii games possible. Also, announced plans to provide DS Download Station functionality through the Wii. (We presume this means one will be able to download demo versions of DS games via the Wii.)
>To date, 7.8 million virtual console games have been downloaded.
>Wii Ware games to be available for download from March 2007. Games rich in new ideas will be the main focus and offered at a reasonable price. Announced Mojipitttan Wii (word puzzle game), Doctor Mario, Star Soldier R and a new original Square Enix RPG: Chisana Oosama to Yakusoku no Kuni
>Wii Fit will go on sale December 1 for 8,800yen and will include the Balance Board.
>Mario Kart Wii will come with the handle controller and is scheduled for a Spring 2008 release.
>DS Kousoku (high-speed) Card Heroes will be released this December.
>Monster Hunter 3 announced for the Wii. (Capcom's Japanese press release)
