As a quick refresher for those who missed it, after less than 24 hours with SSBB the Elder’s were quick to figure out the fastest way to unlock all the characters. Although it may not be very exciting, it will unlock all the characters in about 3-4 hours or so and you can be on your way to speeding around with Sonic or pulverizing foes with R.O.B.

1. Select the "Group" setting from the outer menu.

2. On the next menu, select “Rules” and change the stage select option to “Ordered”

3. Go back to the previous menu and select “Special Brawl”

4. Now change the first option to “Stamina” and scroll down to the "head" option and select “Flower” and then hit okay at the bottom of the list.

5. Now select your character and a character for the computer. When you select the computer's character, you’ll notice the number 150 appear next to the image at the bottom. Move the pointer over the 150 and hit "A." Now push up on the control stick to reduce the computer's HP to just 1 while leaving yours higher.

6. Start the match. The battle should last all of one second.

7. Repeat step 6 until a new challenger appears. Defeat the new challenger (Luigi, Sonic, etc.) to unlock him and place him in your permanent character select screen.

This method is not very entertaining but it is a lot quicker than playing through about 8 hours of Subspace Emissary! With the all characters now unlocked, battle away and practice up! Find your inner Sonic, R.O.B. or that estranged Pink Yoshi and let the brawl’in begin!
