TGFPG: Japan Gets All The Cool Stuff

The word from Japan is that those lucky little devils are about to see the launch of two new DS Lite systems. Set for release on August 24, 2006 is the Limited Edition Final Fantasy III Crystal White DS Lite. And then on September 2, 2006, just a couple weeks later, Japan will see the release of the Jet Black DS Lite. If you're counting, that's three new colors in Japan this summer for a total of SIX in Japan. In the US, we have...one. TGFPG!!!!!!

There is no word precisely how many Limited Edition FF III systems Nintendo will release, but we guarantee these beauties will be hard to come by. Given the popularity of the DS Lite and the Final Fantasy series in Japan, PG BAM is limiting pre-orders to just two units. So if you want one, RESERVE IT NOW!!! And yes, the Wi-Fi capatible Final Fantasy III game will be packaged with the system.

Not wanting Europe to have all the fun, Nintendo announced today the release of the Jet Black DS Lite in Japan. If you gotta have a black DS Lite to match your PSP, but can't wait until September 2nd, then stop by PG BAM later this week. We may have a little surprise for you.
