The matches took place at Penny Arcade's secret underground Ping Pong stadium. It was an intimidating environment for the challengers.

The 12th man was certainly in full effect for PA that night.

The first match was between Mike N. from PG and Jeff from PA. It was the first match of the day and excitement was high. Jeff took the first game, but Mike stormed back to take the next 3 games and win the match. It was a great start for PG as they drew first blood and took a 1-0 lead.

The next contest featured Mike L. of PA and Kristjan of PG.

It was a hard fought battle, but in the end Mike L. prevailed to even the score at 1-1.

The next match was PG's Nozomi vs. PA's Mike K.

It was a valiant effort for Nozomi, but the man known as Gabe was simply too much to handle as PA would score another victory to take a 2-1 lead. (This was also the third straight match won by somebody named Mike. All prospective Pink Pong teams should consider loading up on players named Mike.)

In the next matchup, Violet from PG took on Jerry of PA.

This was a particularly fierce battle. In the end, Jerry had to pull out all the stops, including his famous "tiger eyes", to get the victory. This made the score 3-1 in favor of Penny Arcade.

The next match was between Nathan of PG and Kiko of PA.

Unfortunately, Nathan was unable to stop the bleeding for PG and Kiko won the match to make the score 4-1 for PA.

The Final Match was between team captains Greg and Robert, in a heavyweight bout reminiscent of Ali-Liston, Jordan vs. Bird, and Nintendo vs. Sega. Would Greg be able to salvage a victory for PG or would Robert complete the PA rout?

It was an epic matchup that will be remembered for years to come. In the end, however, Robert pulled out a thrilling victory to put an exclamation point on Penny Arcade's 5-1 domination of Pink Godzilla.

In the end, the PG team could not overcome Penny Arcade. However, you can bet The Pinky G Swingers will be back, better than ever, and looking for revenge!
