In addition to an extremely long title, Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Tamashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 will sport both single cart and multi-cart download play but apparently no Wi-Fi play. This is a bit disappointing if for no other reason than it would have been a nice feature to be able to post your high scores online to measure your cheering skills against the world's greatest Ouendans.

Just as in the first installment and Elite Beat Agents, Ouendan 2 will feature both cooperative play and a battle mode. The most noticeable difference in the battle mode is that the bottom screen is vertically split so that you can actually view every one of your rival's mishaps as you send him tumbling after a ground rumbling earthquake blast. Speaking of which, Ouendan 2 is also compatible with the hard to find rumble pack adapter for the DS Lite.

Thus far twelve songs have been announced, but we can expect more as Famitsu refers to the list as only "partial." The J-POP tunes that you can expect to rhythmically cheer to include such hits as Zenryoku Shonen, Go My Way, Julia ni Yuushin and BANG! BANG! Bakansu just to name a few.
