Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Tamashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 is scheduled for release on the NDS in Japan later this year. Besides hot-blooded cheering action, what else can we expect from this sequel? According to Inis, the familiar Ouendan squad will have a rival Ouendan squad to battle. Apparently, it's going to look a lot like this, but with a lot of little circles on the screen.

When asked about bringing the the Ouendan series to another console, Inis responded by stating that they are currently in negotiations with Nintendo for a possible Wii version. While no further information was revealed, we can't help but be excited about the potential for Ouendan on the Wii.

Pink Godzilla hopes for a limited edition box set that comes packaged with a red headband and white gloves. As for the game play, Pink Godzilla imagines something akin to the dance stage of Wario Ware Smooth Moves where you actually play the game by performing the cheers with a Wii-mote in each hand. Something like this.....
