You should have seen it. I ripped off a 6 string combo with red, blue, green, white and black bomber-heads exploding everywhere. Then a rocket ship blasted its way up through the bottom of the screen, wipin’ out the rest of those po’ souls. Finally, the screen filled up with red bombs, and KABLOOEE…Dead people in the air. Dead people everywhere.

….Anyway…Bomberman Panic for the PSP, with Bomberman heads falling in groups of three, is the newest puzzle game for the PSP. With a variety of game modes such as Computer Attack, Score Attack, Challenge Attack and Versus, you are sure to get your groove on for some Bombastic competitive action. Right Pinky G?

But take my word for it. Despite the red bombs, black bombs and jumbo bombs dropping down on the screen, Bomberman is just fine. He’s just loaned himself out for a while for a PSP remake of the classic Bomberman Panic.

Forget the United Colors of Beneton concept that this game’s got goin’, B-man’s just too good for that. The man’s a playa with mad skills. There is no need to pimp himself out like some 2-D beeaatch!

With this game you’re savin’ chedda’ cause with it’s game sharing feature, Pinky G and I (along with up to two more friends) can play against each other with only one disc.

Whether it’s Score Attack, Challenge Attack with 50 mini-games or Versus mode, Bomberman Panic provides a solid tetris-like puzzle game with plenty of substance to keep you and your friends gaming for hours. Although fun as a single player game, the best part of Bomberman Panic is versus mode where you try to rain bombs down on your foes by setting up combos.
Don’t forget the best part. It’s all ‘bout the customization baby. I mean a playa can’t ride unless he’s got 24” spinners. As you progress through the single player modes, you unlock customizable features such as new wallpaper, background music and bombs.
And that's why I'm giving this game an overall thumbs up.
