The League will be broken up into two phases. Phase One is Dev Kit regular season which will run from March to November. Phase Two is the playoffs. The top twelve performers during the regular season will qualify for Phase Two's Tournament of Champions. Prizes will be awarded to the top designers.
During Phase One, there will be no elimation matches. To be considered for the Tournament of Champions, however, you will need to play in atleast 15 matches. All of your scores will be recorded by Dev Kit officials. Only your best ten rounds, however, count towards your final score. Here is the formula we will be using to determine your overall score.
(AVG Score + AVG Margin of Victory) x (Winning Percentage) = Point Total
We will publish the results of each official league event here on our blog as well as the overall standings.
In addition to exhibiting to the world your Dev Kit chops, through the course of the year you will have opportunities to test your skills against the likes of the reigning Dev Kit world champion Rick Labadie, game designer Christopher Rao, "Joe Zone" Joe as well as many other Dev Kit mini celebrities.
