SOLITAIRE PINK GODZILLA DEV KIT
By Christopher Rama Rao (9/26/06)
Solitaire Pink Godzilla Dev Kit is good for a little Pink Godzilla fun when there is no one else around, but it is also a good way for PG Dev Kit beginners to familiarize themselves with the deck. Enjoy!

• Draw 7 cards. Lay out the five-card Resource Row. Do NOT draw one card each turn.
• Each turn you may trade once. If you don’t trade, all cards of the lowest point value are discarded, then replenish the Resource Row from the draw deck as usual.
• There are obviously no auctions, but in addition to the normal trades, you can also trade one card for 2 or even 3 cards. So, for example, a 5-point card can be traded for a 2 and a 3-point card. Again, the empty spaces in the Resource Row are filled up from the draw deck.
• You MUST play one or two cards each turn. Pink Godzilla, Good Guardian and Neutral Guardian work as usual. The Evil Guardian mimics the ability of the Good Guardian.
• After your turn, your imaginary opponent takes a turn. On this “opponent’s” turn draw one card and discard it. Then discard any card or cards in the Resource Row that have the same value as the card you just drew. Replenish the Resource Row and begin your next turn.
• There are three ways to obtain extra cards:
o Receive two cards as payment each time a videogame Goes Gold plus one bonus card if it is the first videogame in its genre to complete.
o All Special Ability and Power Up cards lose their unique powers and instead may be read as “Discard to draw 2 cards.”
o If and when you Go Gold with games in each of the four genres, draw your hand back up to 7 cards.
• When the draw deck runs out of cards, it’s GAME OVER immediately.
• Scoring is simpler, and works a bit differently:
o 0 points for each videogame of less than 15 points.
o 1 point for a videogame of 15 to 19 points.
o 2 points for a videogame of 20 to 24 points.
o 4 points for a videogame of 25 to 29 points.
o 6 points for a videogame of 30 points or more plus one bonus point for every point over 30 (so a 35 point game would actually give you 6+5 = 11 points).
o 3 bonus points for finishing the draw deck before you run out of cards.
• Keep track of your scores from game to game to compare. Any score over 10 is good.
