FINANCE PHASE

Ok, so let's begin with the Finance phase. Two main things happen in the finance phase. First, I replenish the Resource Row by taking cards from the deck until there are 5 cards face up (which I don't have to do because there are 5 cards in the Resource Row already), then I draw a card.
Oh, it's um... it's a...
It's a Title Card. I suppose now would be a good time to explain how you go about developing videogames. In order to develop a complete videogame, you need at least 4 cards: A Title Card, a Character Card, and two different Required Gear Cards.
Gotcha.
There's a little bit more. You can't just put any four cards together to make a videogame. They all have to be the same genre as the Title Card. For example, you see that I've drawn a blue RPG Title Card. If I want to develop this game, I need a blue Character Card, and two blue Required Gear Cards. You'll notice some cards have more than one color, like the Weapon Required Gear Card or the Combos Required Gear Card in the Resource Row. Those cards can be used in videogames of either color.
So my Team Ninja Suppressors Character Card could be used in either a green Shooter videogame, or in an orange Music videogame?
Exactly. We haven't seen them yet, but there are some cards that have all four colors represented on them, like the Character Card featuring yours truly.
What about my card?
We'll just have to wait and see...
Fine, be that way. So, we're done with the Finance Phase, right? If I remember correctly, the next phase is the Purchase Phase.
Now you're getting it!
